Don't worry if you don't understand the title of this article - hopefully you will never have to read it! This is only for the attention of people who want to publish their catalogue to their on-line homepage from the network of a Borough Council or similar.
If you don't have a direct connection to the Internet, you can find out the name of the middle-man (a computer known as a proxy server) by starting Internet Explorer and following this menu trail:
- Tools menu
- Internet Options (or Options) menu
- Connections tab
- LAN Settings button
- The Proxy Server box
The two green boxes circled below might be empty, or they might have a name in the first (or a set of 4 numbers) and a number in the second (normally including 80)
